Former WR Antonio Brown takes issue with being excluded from Tom Brady’s Netflix Roast

Antonio Brown was not happy to have been excluded from Netflix’s roast of Tom Brady, which included many star NFL players who played with the former quarterback in the past. The event, hosted by Kevin Hart, included Randy Moss, Rob Gronkowski and Julian Edelman. Former head coach Bill Belichick and quarterback Drew Bledsoe were also featured.

Moss, Gronkowski, and Edelman all played on offense with Tom Brady and served as some of his most important receivers. Antonio Brown can justifiably claim to have been in the same category, especially when the legendary quarterback won his seventh Super Bowl with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Brown took to X to question why he was not invited to the roast:

“No AB is a crime against humanity.”

Antonio Brown and Tom Brady’s feud

Antonio Brown’s NFL career ended after he stormed off in the middle of the game between the Buccaneers and the Jets in the 2021 season. Since then, he has taken several direct and indirect digs at Brady.

When Brady was in the middle of a divorce with his then-wife, Gisele Bundchen, Brown posted morphed images of the Supermodel. He also tweeted a link to an article that claimed Brady had “accepted” that Bundchen’s romance with jiu-jitsu instructor Joaquim Valente had started “years ago.”

On an episode of Tyreek Hill’s “It Needed to Be Said” podcast, Brown also criticized Brady for seemingly forcing him to play through injury.

Earlier this year, he labeled Brady ‘selfish’ and shot down suggestions that he helped the embattled former wide receiver revive his career.

While Brown should have been included in the roast lineup based on his playing relationship with Brady and his achievements on the football field, his controversies off the field did not help his case.
