With the summer trade just around the corner, the franchises are actively preparing for business. One of the biggest stars who could be up for grabs in the market this season is Paul George. There has been a lot of discussion about the LA Clippers star and the three possible options he has. Now Chris Haynes laid off some insights on the impact George’s decision would make.

Talking on SiriusXM NBA Radio recently, the Insider said, “It could be a big domino effect depending on what Paul George decides to do.” Haynes feels that the LA side is serious about winning the championship trophy now at their new home arena. George being an important part of the squad, would certainly be required to complete the task. However, the decision depends on the 34-year-old.

PG-13 might not have the title to vouch for his brilliance, but anybody who has watched him play knows his potential. The one team that is often associated with George is the Philadelphia 76ers. They, too, are looking for the final pieces of the puzzle to march towards the ultimate goal.

The advantage the veteran would have there is that they wouldn’t heavily depend on him, unlike the Clippers. The other potential option for George is to extend his contract with his current team.

However, the man remained silent on the matter. Amid all these speculations about his future, George talks about the Rookie of the Year and his talent.

Paul George Talks About Victor Wembanyama and Spurs

Recently on “Podcast P,” Paul George spoke about the enormous talent of Spurs’ budding star, Victor Wembanyama. The 9-time All-Star believes the surrounding players are not fit enough to complement his skills.

George started off by saying, “The way he finished the year is scary for the league.” Then he stated the marvelous moments he created on the court last season. He further added, “It’s just the personnel is not ready for all that he brings and his talents.”

Wemby impressed the hoop enthusiasts with his averages of 21.4 points, 10.6 rebounds, 3.9 assists, 1.2 steals, and 3.6 blocks per game in his first season. However, the Spurs finished in 14th spot in the Western table. So George could be right about the Spurs team members, and his words can be an indication of what the franchise needs.
