The news of Bill Belichick’s relationship with a 24-year-old former cheerleader was precisely that to us: news. And it was the case for most.
But, boy, did Rob Gronowski know what he was talking about when he roasted the 72-year-old for dating outside his age range last month.
Gronk, a former star tight end for the New England Patriots and Tampa Bay Buccaneers, was one of the performers at ‘The Roast of Tom Brady,’ hosted by Netflix early last month.
While most people were taken aback by TMZ’s bombshell report, which outlined Belichick’s relationship with Jordon Hudson, the four-time Super Bowl winner wasn’t one of them.
Rob spoke about Bill scouting his girlfriend at Foxborough High School during the viral event in a joke many people failed to catch. But it all makes sense now.
“Coach, you used to talk about Foxborough High School when we sucked,” he said while on stage. “But now I know why you were so obsessed with Foxborough High School: you were scouting your new girlfriend.
“I mean coach, my joke wasn’t f***** up but that’s f**** up. You’re 73 years old, you should be trying to bang someone your own age – like Nikki [Glazer].”
In case you don’t recall the joke, you can check it out below:
Bill Belichick Was Flight Macking
According to TMZ, Bill Belichick met his new GF, Jordan Hudson, on a flight from Boston to Florida, and they bonded over a school project, which we presume he pretended to be interested in.
The two are understood to have exchanged information and kept in touch; they moved out of the friend zone shortly after the ex-NFL coach broke up with longtime partner Linda Holliday.
The new couple were spotted together on a few occasions this year but stepped up their publicity when they attended Tom Brady’s Patriots Hall of Fame induction ceremony this week.
