Chicago Sky rookie Angel Reese is “in talks” with Hershey’s about a potential endorsement deal involving Reese’s, TMZ Sports reported.
“Reese x Reese does sound quite tasty,” a Hershey’s spokesperson told TMZ Sports.
According to TMZ Sports, Reese and Hershey’s “are legitimately looking to form a partnership.”
The report comes the same day that Reese referenced the brand in a post on
This is not the first time that Reese has referred to her fans as “Reese’s pieces.”
When she used the term on June 25, the official REESE’S account responded with an image of one of the candies wearing Reese’s signature headband.
The following day, designer Marvin Baroota revealed custom “Reese’s Pieces” themed shoes designed for the Sky rookie:
Reese is averaging 13.2 points, 11.8 rebounds, 1.9 assists and 1.4 steals through 18 starts in her first season in the WNBA.
As a college athlete, Reese earned an On3 NIL valuation of $1.8 million after partnering with brands including McDonald’s, Xfinity, Wingstop, Topps, Reebok and Airbnb.
Reese signed 26 endorsement deals during her senior year at LSU, the second-most in college sports only to UCLA quarterback Chase Griffin, per SponsorUnited (h/t USA TODAY.)
Reese is likely on her way to more lucrative brand deals as she continues her bid for WNBA Rookie of the Year this season.
