Paul “Hollis” Hollister, played by the actor Hollis W Chambers, was found dead at Il Giardino, shortly after Tom Starr’s character was killed off earlier this month.

As the results of Hollis’ autopsy were disclosed, a crucial detail might indicate the waiter’s death is part of a murderous plot.

“He died of the same drug that killed Tom,” Finn told Steffy, leaving fans to wonder whether there’s a killer on the loose.

Viewers will remember Tom was poisoned, as viewers began evaluating whether Poppy, Justin, Jack, and Luna’s aunt Li’s motivations to murder him.

At the time, one fan theory read: “They bought all these unusual suspects in all of a sudden. Haven’t seen Justin or Jack in awhile. There’s Li , Justin’s got an odd expression, Poppy definitely has a motive. She didn’t want Tom to mess up her good thing.”

But who would want both Tom and Hollis dead? According to spoilers posted by Soaps In Depth, one character has everyone questioning their possible involvement in the double-murder.

WHODUNNIT?

Viewers will be thinking the same thing as Deacon who wondered “what the hell happened” to Hollis and whether his death might somehow be related to Tom’s passing.

“So sudden. Just like Tom. Now they’re both gone,” he told Sheila.

Elsewhere, Ridge and Hope were coming to grips with the tragedy, when he pointed out that “two people died at your dad’s restaurant in just a few weeks. When Steffy walked in on their conversation, Ridge mused, “Something is up. First that guy dies, and now Hollis. At Il Giardino. There’s no way this is a coincidence.”

While Finn and Li were completing Hollis’ autopsy at the hospital, Steffy told Hope, Ridge, and Brooke that only “only one person comes to mind” who might have had something to with the “multiple deaths at Il Giardino”.

“Sheila,” she announced her suspicions.

Li was still grappling with the results of Hollis’ toxicology reports when she’s interrupted by Poppy at the hospital. She told Li that Luna is heartbroken over Hollis’ death and was hoping to be able to give her some answers.

Li then ominously replied, “Hollis was drugged. Drugged, Poppy. And I know exactly who did it.”

According to early edition spoilers for this week’s episodes posted by Soap Dirt, Sheila will find herself in the hot seat, facing questions over her possible involvement in the double deaths.

Even as she’s taken in for questioning by the LAPD, it’s unlikely Sheila is the culprit as she seemed genuinely distraught by the tragedy.

Reacting to a YouTube video about two-week spoilers for the show, fans also speculated how Deacon and Sheila’s marriage might suffer as she races to prove her innocence. “I think Deacon & Sheila’s marriage is definitely going to get strained once Deacon starts to doubt or questions Sheila’s innocence about the 2 murders,” one person commented.

Another viewer noted, “Sheila is a lot of things and we all know this but she didn’t kill Tom and Hollis it was Jack Li or even poppy because they don’t want Luna’s true paternity to come out that Bill is not Luna’s father which I have been saying day one.”

Just before his death, Tom questioned Poppy, played by Romy Park, about whether is the father of their daughter, Luna.

When Poppy told him that paternity tests confirmed Luna isn’t his daughter, he threatened to tell her current husband, Dollar Bill Spencer, what they know.

Shortly after their exchange, Tom’s character ends up dead, leaving fans to ponder whether Poppy might be the culprit.

Some wondered whether Li’s reaction to Tom’s death was a giveaway that she’s the murderer.

“Tom’s passed out on the floor, everybody’s around him trying help, see what’s going on, Li ‘s sitting over there on the chair. She’s the doctor in the house she should have been trying to help,” one fan said.
