Meghan Markle got a “dressing down” from Queen Elizabeth after one remark.

Royal author Katie Nicholl alleged that the incident happened when the Duchess was taste-testing food for her wedding to Prince Harry in 2018.

She was reportedly left “unimpressed” and said to have “got very upset” after saying she “felt that she could taste egg” in one of the dishes.

Katie told Yahoo’s Royal Box that Meghan was informed there was no egg in the dish, yet she was unconvinced. The Duchess allegedly hit back: “No, I can taste it.”

Queen Elizabeth II, who died in September 2022, walked into the room at Windsor Castle and “quietly took Meghan to the side”. The late monarch allegedly told Meghan that “the Royal Family does not speak to people like that”.

Rumours concerning Meghan’s interactions with staff previous surfaced after her former communications secretary, Jason Knauf, accused her of bullying.

Meghan and her representatives have consistently denied all such allegations, with them previously being described as a “calculated smear campaign based on misleading and harmful misinformation”.

‘Real reason’ why Royal Family deleted Prince Harry’s statement from website

A PR expert has pinpointed the exact reason why Prince Harry’s old statement about his wife Meghan Markle was taken down from the Royal Family’s official website.

Last week, the royals made headlines over the removal of a particular statement issued by Prince Harry back in 2016, in which he essentially confirmed his relationship with Meghan while he lashed out at the British media.

The statement, released by Kensington Palace in 2016 when the couple announced their relationship to the public, was the one which left King Charles and Prince William “furious” as it made them “look bad” for not defending their wives the same way, according to Prince Harry’s memoir Spare.

The Duke of Sussex condemned the press for subjecting his then-girlfriend, Meghan Markle, to a “wave of abuse and harassment”.

According to the statement, the couple were “a few months into a relationship” and it was “not right” that the duchess should be subjected to such treatment.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s “titles are here to stay” an expert has claimed, as the royals make a major move in how they expect to handle the US-based couple.

Ingrid Seward, editor in chief of Majesty Magazine said she thinks Harry and Meghan will never lose their titles as she would be given a completely different name.

The expert told The Royal Beat: “I don’t think anything will happen to the titles.

“Because if they lose their titles, Harry is still a prince of the blood and Meghan instead of being the Duchess of Sussex, would be Princess Henry. That really would confuse the Americans. I think it’s probably best just to leave it because it looks unkind, it looks unnecessary.

She also shared the royals major move in dealing with them: “I think the best thing is to leave them, ignore them, and let them get on with it – which is really what the Palace and the Royal Family are doing. ”

The royal tradition is that by marrying a prince, a woman can take a princess title but only with her husband’s name. That would mean for Meghan she would become Princess Henry (Harry’s real first name), but she’s more widely known as the Duchess of Sussex. The same is true for Kate, who’s official title is Princess William.

Meghan Markle ‘is boss in marriage as Harry wears heart on sleeve’

Meghan Markle has shown that she is her “own boss” and likes to take centre stage, as her husband, Prince Harry is no longer afraid to be “true to himself” and wears “his heart on his sleeve”, a body language expert has claimed.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have been trying to rebrand themselves away from the Royal Family, ever since stepping down as senior working royals in 2020 and according to body language expert Darren Stanton, their efforts have paid off.

Speaking to the Mirror on behalf of Betfair Bingo, Mr Stanton claimed Meghan is a “leading figure” like her husband and likes to be open about how she’s feeling and “wants to let people in”, whereas Harry appears a lot more confident ever since leaving the Firm.

He explained: “She [Meghan] is her own boss and there’s a sense she doesn’t want to let anyone down. She’s a naturally good communicator and could speak to anyone she crosses paths with.

“Harry used to be very quiet and shy when out and about as a Royal, whereas now he is very expressive with how he’s feeling. He wears his heart on his sleeve and isn’t afraid to be true to himself.”

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s high-profile visit to Nigeria has been described as a “have your cake and eat it” situation by a royal commentator.

The 72-hour, whirlwind trip to West Africa undertaken this month by the Duke and Duchess of Sussex was hailed by some commentators as a success for the California-based couple.

The trip was said to be deeply personal for both Meghan and Harry. During their meetings, they were able to continue their work around the Invictus Games, the Duke’s paralympic-style event for ill and wounded veterans and military personnel, and women empowerment.

Moreover, Meghan was able to explore her heritage, two years after she revealed during her podcast series Archetypes to have discovered through genealogy tests to be 43 percent Nigerian.

Speaking at an event on women in leadership, the Duchess said: “Every single moment that I hear anyone talk about what it means to be a Nigerian woman, it is the most flattering thing to be in that company.

Meghan Markle’s podcast has been slammed as “hilarious” by one celebrity. Perez Hilton was being interviewed on Kinsey Schofield’s YouTube channel when she asked him what he thought of the Duchess of Sussex’s Archetypes podcast.

The American replied by saying that while the podcast was supposed to “champion women”, all of the guests were “rich and famous”.

He said: “I thought it was hilarious because she claims to be this champion of women and for the people, and yet every guest – if not then the overwhelming majority of guests – were celebrities.

“Why are you doing this thing about women, yet we’re only hearing the voices of the rich and famous?

Prince Harry has been hit with a “sad reminder” from Prince William that he has “no relationship at all” with this one royal, an expert has claimed.

The brothers have had an increasingly strained relationship since Prince Harry stepped down as a working royal with Meghan Markle in 2020.

Since then and the couple’s subsequent move to California, he has rarely reunited with his family, which has affected every single member.

Royal author Tom Quinn claimed that the Duke of Sussex has become completely estranged from his nephew, Prince George, despite sharing similar interests with the young heir to the throne.

According to his father, Prince George is a “potential pilot in the making” – a similar passion to Prince Harry, who was an apache helicopter pilot during a tour of Afghanistan.

Prince William and King Charles had a brutal one-word response for Prince Harry when he returned to the UK to mourn the loss of the patriarch of the Royal Family.

The Duke of Sussex travelled back to Windsor in April 2021 to attend the socially distanced funeral of his grandfather Prince Philip, leaving a heavily pregnant Meghan Markle at home in California.

During his visit Harry recalled in his memoir Spare that he request a chat with his estranged father and brother, just weeks after the infamous Oprah Winfrey aired.

While waiting for them to arrive for the meeting Harry said he was anxious they would not turn up, but eventually saw them approaching with a “grim, almost menacing” look.

As they greeted each other Harry referred to them affectionately by his names for them, “Willy” and “Pa”, to which they responded with a single “painfully tepid” word – “Harold”.

Prince Harry has been labelled “America’s ultimate Nepo baby” by US-based royal commentator Kinsey Schofield as the row over his visa application rumbles on.

The conservative think tank The Heritage Foundation brought a case against the Duke of Sussex some months ago asking for details of his American visa application to be made public, following revelations in his memoir Spare that he had previously taken drugs.

Such an admission would normally prevent a visa in the US from being granted, leading to questions over whether he lied in the application or was given a pass due to his royal status.

The Department of Homeland Security has since argued that the documents should not be released in order to avoid a negative perception of Harry, with the Biden administration requesting that the information remain confidential.

Speaking to Kevin O’Sullivan on TalkTV, Ms Schofield called on the Prince to be “honest” as that is the only way to make the issue disappear.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s love story confirmation has been removed from the Royal Family’s website.

The prince released a statement in 2016 confirming his romance with the former actress and defended his then-girlfriend from racist abuse.

Reportedly, it has since been pulled from the Royal Family website, with the link to the statement not working for users.

Newsweek reported that the statement stopped being accessible sometime in early December.

The last time a working version of it was successfully captured by the internet archive Wayback Machine was on December 3, 2023, with an archive attempt a week later being unsuccessful.

The decision to strip Prince Harry and Meghan Markle of their HRH titles back in 2020 seems to have “backfired” for King Charles as it has fuelled their desire to speak out against the Royal Family.

When the couple announced they were stepping down as working royals four years ago they were allowed to keep their Duke and Duchess of Sussex titles, but were told they could no longer be known as HRH (His or Her Royal Highness)
