Avril Lavigne  was first rumored to have passed away in 2003. Reports said that before Avril Lavigne’s problems were due to her problems in the spotlight. The female singer died and was replaced by someone else. Avril publicly acknowledged the falsehood of the rumors on an Australian radio show, saying, “I think it’s stupid for anyone to believe I’m dead.”

Nick Jonas

In 2009,  Nick Jonas  became the victim of two hoaxes. Two separate reports gave fans confidence at the time. A report said Jonas died of sudden cardiac arrest due to complications from diabetes. Others reported that while performing lap dances at a popular strip club in Dallas, Jonas went into cardiac arrest. Since then, Nick Jonas has had a successful solo music career, started an acting career, married Priyanka Chopra and reunited with the JoBros.

Justin Bieber

Justin Bieber  has died quite a few times. In 2009, and then again in 2010, rumors surfaced that the singer-songwriter had died by suicide, leaving followers around the world confused. Justin Bieber was also killed in a nightclub shooting and fatal drug overdose. In 2012, #RIPJustinBieber even trended on social media.

Celine Dion

Several reputable news sources have reported about Celine Dion’s sudden death, causing people to be extremely confused. In a 2013 interview with Digital Spy, Celine Dion explained how disruptive the false claims are: “What you should know is when you have an 86-year-old mother, and if then four seconds from the news If it’s posted, if you don’t call back to say you’re okay, your family will be in trouble.”

Miley Cyrus

Miley Cyrus  is another star that news outlets keep declaring dead. The first reports about this personality pop star appeared in 2008, when Miley Cyrus allegedly died tragically in a fight. One year later, Miley Cyrus continued to die when there were “rumors of anonymous people in the music industry claiming the star had passed away”. In 2016, there were rumors that she overdosed on prescription drugs and was found dead in a bathtub.

Now, Miley Cyrus is successful in her career and personal life.

Taylor Swift

In 2009, Taylor Swift allegedly died tragically in a car accident. While the Swiftie community was mourning, they received notice that Taylor Swift was still alive. A few months later, Taylor Swift continued to die from a drug allergy.

In July 2016, photos paying tribute to  Taylor Swift  with the memorial text “Taylor Swift 1989-2016” appeared on social networks.

After many deaths, Taylor Swift is preparing to release a new album and her latest song “The Archer” has been warmly praised by critics.

Britney Spears

In fact,  Britney Spears  died quite a bit. In 2016, Sony Music Music’s Twitter account was hacked and posted two tweets with a brief announcement about Britney Spears’ death. Given that the account is verified, people are more inclined to trust the post. To add to the drama, at the same time, Bob Dylan’s official Twitter account also posted a post… praising Britney Spears. Immediately after this news broke out, Britney Spears’ representative confirmed that these rumors were false and said that the star is still alive and well.
