Britney Spears and Sam Asghari’s divorce is finally settled, which comes only a week after the singer expressed regret over their break-up.

TMZ obtained a Stipulated Judgement alongside Britney’s response to Sam’s divorce petition, filed by her attorney, Laura Wasser. The judge’s approval is imminent, marking the official end of their marriage.

After “Baby One More Time” and “Oops! I Did It Again” came out, Britney was becoming a huge star, and she started making serious cash.

A stipulated judgment is a legal term referring to an agreement between parties involved in a lawsuit or legal dispute. In this context, it means that both parties have reached a mutual agreement on the terms of the divorce, typically outlining the resolution of issues such as division of property, support payments, or other matters related to the dissolution of a marriage or civil partnership.

Once the stipulated judgment is finalized and signed by a judge, it becomes legally binding and enforceable. This approach allows parties to settle their disputes without the need for a trial, saving time and legal expenses

Britney Spears is a worldwide superstar and one of the top 10 selling female artists ever, but how does she rank on streaming platforms?

The publication notes that few details are available about the former couple’s settlement, though TMZ says it followed what was outlined in their prenup closely. Apparently, Britney will keep minimal assets retained from the marriage, primarily jewelry, personal effects, and pre-marital and marital earnings.

Sam filed for divorce from Britney in August, following 14 months of marriage. Though the couple have been quiet on an official reason for their split, reports say Sam believe Britney cheated on him. The pop star may have also gotten physical with Asghari during their time together.

There were previously reports that Sam was hoping to get a bigger divorce settlement from Spears than their prenup entitled him to, though he denied the claims.

“[Sam is] attempting to negotiate concessions beyond his prenup and threatening to go public with extraordinarily embarrassing information about Britney unless he gets paid,” an insider previously claimed to Page Six . “So that’s what Sam is focused on.

The prenup apparently entitled Asghari to $1 million for every 2 years of marriage, with a maximum limit of $10 million after 15 years of marriage. However, as they did not reach the 2-year milestone, and based on the reported details of their divorce settlement, it doesn’t appear the fitness trainer walked away with anything beyond what the prenup stipulated.

Despite being tight-lipped about the divorce, Asghari’s representative made it clear Sam wasn’t trying to get money out of Britney.

“There are many claims that Sam is challenging the prenup and threatening to exploit his ex-wife with videos,” his rep said last fall. “However, all these claims are false, as no negative intention has ever been directed towards her and never will be. Sam has always and will always support her.”

Though Britney has expressed regret over her divorce, the pop star has apparently moved on and is dating her ex-employee, Paul Richard Soliz, despite his reported criminal history, which has caused concern amongst her team and fans alike.
