Much has been said about Caitlin Clark during the 2024 WNBA season. As the weeks went by, she went from bad to good to All-Star to a big mistake by USA Basketball when they didn’t pick the rookie for the 2024 Olympic women’s team.

Clark keeps doing her thing and demonstrating that she’s the star of the future for the league, posting notable numbers that put her in a league of her own.

X (formerly Twitter) user @TLaww22 shared a notable record about Clark, who posted another remarkable stat line in the final five games of the first half of the 2024 WNBA season.

“Caitlin Clark has 109 points and 64 assists in her last 5 games. In WNBA history, it’s the first instance of that occurring in ANY 5-game span.

If we lower it to 90 points and 50 assists it’s only occurred four other times. Three of those belong to Caitlin Clark,” Law Donicick wrote.

Clark didn’t have the best start to the season and career, as it took her six games to get the first win of the season. However, once she got the hang of it, the season turned around.

The Fever is now 11-15 for the season, ranking seventh in the WNBA standings. Clark’s level of performance has drastically improved, which led to her getting an All-Star selection and recording 10 assists in the big game.

Arike Ogunbowale heaps high praise for Caitlin Clark

After sharing touches with Clark in the All-Star Game over the weekend, Dallas Wings star Arike Ogunbowale shared her thoughts on Clark, saying she’s been a fan of the young guard since she was in college.

“I’ve been a fan of her since she’s been in college. We exchanged while she was in college, because I just love hoopers.

You guys obviously see my game, and you know, I see a lot of similarities.

She knows how to get a bucket, she can create for herself and she can create for teammates,” Ogunbowale said.

Caitlin Clark is already making a huge impact on the WNBA and is expected to make more history down the stretch as she makes her case for the best rookie in league history.
