Love Island has been thrown into chaos as two more islanders have been dramatically axed.

In scenes filmed today that will air on ITV2 on Sunday night, another dumping will send shockwaves through the villa – and the axed pair have already filmed their exit.

According to a show insider, the latest axing is particularly brutal as Maya Jama makes her return to the villa.

“It’s savage,” teases our spy. “Jaws hit the floor and the islanders were left reeling. They didn’t see this coming and the way is play out is pretty rough on them all. There are tears around the firepit and lots of emotion in the air.”

The shock twist comes after filming was cancelled last night, despite Maya winging her way from Paris to shoot the dumping.

As The Sun exclusively revealed earlier today, the stunning presenter jumped on a jet from the fashion shows in the French capital to deliver the latest villa axing.

Maya had been in France for a couples shoot with boyfriend Stormzy, but had to dash back to Palma on Thursday (June 20).

But at the last minute, the schedule changed as bosses made a big switch-up – despite the fact Maya was already glammed up and camera ready.

Our set source said: “We always try to react to what is going on in the villa and not confine any brewing situations to set schedules or plotlines.

“Following the explosive suck and blow game on Wednesday – shown on Thursday night – basically there is so much going on with the Islanders, execs decided to just let it all play out.

“Throwing Maya in the mix with the results of the dumping felt like we’d be cutting off a load of drama while it was in mid-flow so we ripped up the schedule.

“The weather was a bit iffy, too. So even though Maya was ready to go in full glam, we decided to give her the night off instead.”

Viewers will have to wait a few nights to see the drama go down from the dumping, but there was still plenty of tension tonight.

Sean interrupted a cosy chat between Matilda and Omar to steal her off to the hideaway.

Omar looked fuming as the other villa girls looked on in horror at the sweet salesman’s bold move.

Unfortunately for Sean, Matilda told him it was “too soon” when he asked her for a kiss.

Meanwhile, Mimii was furious at Ayo for kissing Uma last night, and Harriett and Ronnie exchanged a war of words after he overhears her claiming he is “acting” in the villa.
