Hours before the cancellation announcement Chandler had also taken to X formerly Twitter when he bizarrely wrote:

It seems a strange thing to post just before McGregor was officially pulled from the main event.

The UFC is hoping to make the McGregor vs. Chandler fight for either late August or September as per MMA insider Ariel Helwani.
