Jon Bon Jovi: ‘Did A Girl Ever Throw Herself At Me? F—k, Yes. I’m Jon Bon Jovi’

During a recent appearance on the Just for Variety podcast, Jon Bon Jovi said that plenty of girls have thrown themselves at him.

The frontman avoided drugs but admits being a rock star sometimes got the better of him, despite his 35-year marriage to Dorothea Hurley:

“It was the ’80s, for God’s sake. It was the ’90s, it was the 2000s … Did a girl ever throw herself at me? F*ck, yes. I’m Jon Bon Jovi.”

What Did Jon Say About His Marriage Before?

He and Dorothea have been together since high school, dating for 44 years. Still, in April, Bon Jovi admitted he wasn’t always faithful to his wife during their marriage. He talked about his family life with Independent.co.uk.:

“These are all the wonderful clichés of rock stardom. It’s about never lying about having been a saint, but not being a fool enough to [mess] up the home life, either.”

Later, in an interview with Michael Strahan, he addressed the rumors, admitting he wasn’t a ‘saint’ and had been involved with around 100 girls in his life:

“I got away with murder. I’m a rock and roll star, I’m not a saint. You know, I’m not saying that there weren’t 100 girls in my life – I’m Jon Bon Jovi. It was pretty good.”

Bon Jovi didn’t discuss everything he’s done in the past, but he did talk about his wife and their relationship:

“There is no doubt in my mind that this world revolves because of her. Because of what she did to keep the kids right, what she does to keep me right, what we do together to keep it right. No doubt about it.”

Bon Jovi’s Recent Clarification

More recently, the singer clarified his earlier comments about having affairs with 100 girls during a new interview with The Guardian. He explained what he actually meant to say:

“That was an interesting moment where the brain and lips don’t connect. What I meant to say was I’ve had a hundred women who have thrown themselves at me, but I didn’t finish the sentence so I really came off like an arrogant cliche.”

During the interview, he also spoke about his wife while celebrating their 35th anniversary:

“I just got it right the first time. I was blessed to have known her since we were kids and I couldn’t have ever imagined life any differently.”

Bon Jovi also discussed his marriage in an interview with Fox News Digital. He mentioned how much they admire, respect, and enjoy each other. He called his wife the key to keeping everything together.
