NFC Team Acquires Tennessee Titans Superstar WR DeAndre Hopkins In Blockbuster Trade Proposal That Would Make Their Offense Unstoppable

The 32-year-old DeAndre Hopkins is entering the final season of a two-year, $26 million pact he signed last offseason. With Tennessee in the early stages of a rebuild, it’s unlikely they’ll retain Hopkins beyond 2024.
If Tennessee ends up shopping “Nuk” between now and the 2024 NFL trade deadline, just about any Super Bowl contender should be keen on acquiring the five-time Pro Bowler to bolster their offense.
But if there’s one legitimate title contender that should be all-in on the DeAndre Hopkins sweepstakes, it’s Jordan Love’s Green Bay Packers.
Green Bay has been searching for a new WR1 since trading Davante Adams to the Las Vegas Raiders two years ago. Last season, rookie Jayden Reed led the team in receptions (64) and yards (793).
Green Bay has three good-but-not-elite receivers in Reed, Romeo Doubs and Christian Watson. If they could land an established WR1 to help Jordan Love, the Packers would close the gap with the NFC’s top heavyweights in the Detroit Lions, San Francisco 49ers and Philadelphia Eagles.
What Packers Should Offer Titans For DeAndre Hopkins
DeAndre Hopkins shouldn’t cost too much since he’s 32 years of age and on an expiring contract. A fair price would be a conditional 2025 fourth-round pick that becomes a third if Hopkins reaches 1,000 yards receiving and a 2026 fifth-round pick.
If Tennessee wants more, perhaps Green Bay would consider swapping second-year wideout Dontayvion Wicks for Hopkins. The former had a productive rookie year, but it’ll be hard for him to hit his ceiling with Reed, Doubs, Watson, and tight end Luke Musgrave, who also need the ball.
But otherwise, two mid-round picks for Hopkins would be a fair trade for all parties.
