It didn’t take Angel Reese long to blossom into a superstar in the WNBA.

The “Chi Barbie” turned a lot of heads during her time at LSU for her rebounding ability and timely baskets.

But many fans were questioning whether Reese’s game would be able to translate once she got to the WNBA.

Well, Reese has proven those doubters wrong.

There has also been a lot of speculation about Reese’s academic standing while at LSU, after rumors surfaced that she was suspended from the team for a few weeks in 2023 due to academic ineligibility.

But Reese has since quelled those rumors with a praiseworthy academic achievement.

On Tuesday, Reese shared an Instagram post from the LSU Academic Center for Student Athletes (LSU ACSA) that noted how Reese won LSU’s Student Athlete of the Month award for June 2024.

“Look at me little miss graduateeeee,” Reese wrote in the story’s caption.

Reese obviously would not have been able to win this award at LSU if she didn’t produce on the classroom like she does on the court.
