When Will 'The View' Return? | Decider

It’s officially been one week since fans of The View were served fresh Hot Topics from their favorite Emmy-winning talk show hosts.

The last time fans saw the ladies of The View was Aug. 2, as they bid farewell to the Upper West Side studio they’ve called home for the past 10 years.

While we miss our favorite hosts, we have some good news: we’re a quarter of the way through the show’s four-week long summer vacation! It’s zooming by, isn’t it?

Not to fear: ABC won’t let viewers forget the faces of their favorite morning show. Reruns of the The View have been playing daily on the network during the show’s regular time slot, and they’ll continue until Sara Haines, Joy Behar, Whoopi Goldberg, Alyssa Farah Griffin and Sunny Hostin are back at the Hot Topics table.

So, why is The View off the air? When will the show return live on air? Here’s everything you need to know.

Why Isn’t The View On Today?

The View is currently on its annual four-week scheduled hiatus for summer. In place of the live show, ABC will be playing reruns during its normal time slot until the show is once again back on in full swing. The rerun schedule for this week is below, so read on!

When Will The View Be Back With New Episodes?

According to a schedule provided by ABC, The View has reruns scheduled through Sept. 2, which is Labor Day. As the show traditionally returns after the holiday and the rerun schedule ends on that Monday, it’s safe to assume the ladies will return live once again for Season 28 on Sept. 3.
