Taylor Swift’s jet has taken off from Sydney Airport, marking the end of her whirlwind two-week Eras Tour visit.

More than 600,000 tickets were sold to her seven shows in Melbourne and Sydney, including three sold-out shows at the MCG with record audiences of 96,000 fans a night.

The chartered VistaJet flight will make the eight-hour journey to Singapore for the next leg of her world tour.

In her usual fashion, Swift was boarded onto the plane in secrecy with the plane taking off ahead of its midday departure time.

The Cruel Summer singer arrived at Sydney Airport last Monday, after finishing a three-day run of shows in Melbourne.

She was spotted getting on the plane wearing her boyfriend Travis Kelce’s Chiefs Super Bowl Champions hat, as well as a red top and shorts.

The star was briefly delayed by thunderstorms and lighting strikes in the area, with multiple domestic flights forced to make adjustments to their flight plan.

Swift’s jet pulled into a hangar in the airport, so that she could leave the plane to privately go to her hotel in the city. After landing, she joined a convoy of cars where she is believed to have been taken to a penthouse at Crown in Barangaroo.

Three days later, Kelce created quite a stir when he arrived at the airport along with fellow NFL star Ross Travis.

Fans had speculated the Superbowl champion would make a surprise visit to Australia after he hinted at making a trip to an “venture to an island real soon” on the podcast New Heights which he co-hosts with brother Jason Kelce.

More than 6000 people were glued to their screens when Swift first touched down at Melbourne’s Tullamarine airport two weeks ago.

Swift travelled on a Bombardier Global 6000, a luxurious private jet that boasts a maximum range of 6000 nautical miles with a capacity of up to 17 passengers.

She left herself just a couple of days to get over the jetlag before taking the stage for her first Australian show since her Reputation Tour in 2018.

However, this should have proved no trouble for Swift, as she was quoted a few days earlier at the Superbowl saying to Kelce that “jetlag was a choice”.
