Sources Claim Ben Affleck Joined Jennifer Garner During Her Trip to Japan Amid Jennifer Lopez Split Rumors
Jennifer Garner recently lit up Instagram with delightful glimpses of her trip to Japan, showcasing snaps of serene temples, mouth-watering dishes, and a Japanese Wolverine poster.
While Garner appeared in a few of the photos, she wasn’t on a solo trip. In fact, sources insist that her ex-husband, Ben Affleck, accompanied Garner and their children — Violet, 18, Seraphina, 15, and Samuel, 12 — on this enchanting getaway, as Affleck’s marriage to Lopez is on the outs.
Known for their amicable co-parenting relationship, Garner and Affleck have long been admired for putting their children first. “They’re best friend exes and the epitome of good co-parenting,” a source close to Affleck told Fox News Digital.
This harmonious dynamic was evident on their recent family adventure to Japan, where they reportedly celebrated Affleck’s birthday together, albeit quietly and away from the public eye.
The alleged family trip comes as Affleck and Lopez navigate what many believe is the end of their two-year marriage. Typically vocal about her romance with Affleck, Lopez didn’t share any sweet love notes on social media for his birthday on August 15 — though she did post a selfie showing off her physique.
The two have listed their $68 million Beverly Hills mansion for sale back in July, and Lopez spent her own birthday off in the Hamptons partying with friends as Affleck stayed in Los Angeles.
Garner also posted the photos of her trip to Japan on Affleck’s birthday, which does seem to lend a bit more credibility to the source’s claim that they went on a family vacation together.
Garner and Affleck have historically been amicable co-parents. They often attend family events together and even spent Thanksgiving 2021 — the last one before he married Lopez — as a family.
They frequently go to their kids’ school and sports activities. Despite their split, they work hard to maintain a supportive atmosphere for their children, and this trip might just be another example of that, rather than any rekindling of a romance.
