Jennifer Lopez showed off her glowing skin in a new morning skincare routine video posted to her Instagram on Wednesday.

The megastar, 52, looked positively flawless with no makeup, after getting out of the shower: ‘I don’t have any special lighting or anything, this is just morning light. I don’t have any special filters on here, this is my face.’

The singer also emphasized the importance of a good attitude and revealed that she starts her day off with positive affirmation cards.

‘I am very happy. Right outside my shower I have a little box of affirmations cards. This is the affirmation card I pulled out today,’ she said, sharing a quote from Hellen Keller.

‘We’re going to resolve to keep happy, no matter what. Promise you make to yourself. I’m going to be happy. It lies in me: my success and my happiness,’ the Marry Me actress stated.

In the video, the New York native sports a white bath robe and a large tear-shaped diamond necklace.

‘Good morning everybody, it’s a beautiful day outside. It’s gorgeous, I just got out of the shower, and I washed with my cleanser,’ she started off the video, with her wet brunette tresses slicked back.

In her hand was the gel cream cleanser from her very own JLO Beauty brand, which she started last year, retailing for $38.

‘So you can see, no makeup yet,’ the star continued, showing off her glowing skin.

Afterwards the star moved on to her ‘That JLO Glow’ serum, retailing for $79.

‘These are vitamins for the face. That’s how I like to think of it. Taking my vitamins in the morning. Starting out my day right.’

‘Feed my mind first. My soul, with an affirmation. No looking at the phone yet, just setting myself up right for the day with the right intentions, and the right thoughts. Being positive.’

The next step of her routine included sunscreen. ‘Sunscreen is really important and it’s been one of my beauty secrets since I was in my late teens, early twenties.’

‘Your mom puts it on you when you’re a baby to protect your skin from the sun, and I continued that on into adulthood, and it was a game changer.’

Starting with a cleanser: ‘Good morning everybody, it’s a beautiful day outside. It’s gorgeous, I just got out of the shower, and I washed with my cleanser,’ she started off the video

Serum next: She continued with a serum, as well as the positive thoughts: ‘No looking at the phone yet, just setting myself up right for the day with the right intentions. Being positive’

‘The protection, everyday from the sun – even though some days it wasn’t sunny in New York when I was growing up – made a huge difference in protecting me from sun damage.’

‘Now I am protected and ready to face whatever the day brings,’ she said, after applying her sunscreen.

The beauty then added a touch of extra eye-cream under her eyes for ‘extra moisture.’

Last step: The star’s last skincare step was sunscreen: ‘Sunscreen is really important and it’s been one of my beauty secrets since I was in my late teens, early twenties,’ she stated

‘That’s my morning routine. They’re knocking on my door, harassing me already. Thinking I’m not getting ready or something, but I am,’ she added, smiling, potentially referring to her twins Max and Emme, 14, whom she shares with ex-husband Marc Anthony, 53.

‘It’s going to be a beautiful day. I choose happiness,’ Lopez said, wrapping up her video.

Last Friday the Hustlers actress stopped by beauty store Sephora in Beverly Hills, where her JLO Beauty line is available for purchase.

While at the store, the grateful star showed her appreciation for all of the workers ‘grinding everyday for JLo beauty’ and was seen thanking the workers for being ‘on the front line’ and selling her brand’s products.
