Ben Affleck has seemingly squashed the current divorce rumours that are plaguing his marriage to Jennifer Lopez, with the actor seen out and about showing off his wedding ring.

Ben, 51, and Jennifer, 54, have been at the centre of split rumours in recent weeks. It is speculated that the “greatest love story ever told”, a phrase coined by JLo herself, might be over, with divorce speculation rife and fuelled by the couple themselves with their behaviour.

In recent days, the couple have been seen showing off their wedding rings, hiding their ring fingers, and even ditching their rings altogether. And just last week, reports emerged that JLo had banned all questions relating to her husband and their marriage during her Atlas promotional appearances, premieres and interviews.

But just a day after Ben was seen without his wedding ring, the actor has now stepped out with his wedding ring in full view for the entire world to see. Stepping out in California with his 12-year-old son Samuel, whom he shares with ex Jennifer Garner, Ben had his wedding finger firmly back on his finger.

Ben could be seen wearing some black shorts with a grey t-shirt. In one snap he placed his hand over his chest, which might have been a deliberate move to squash any split rumours circulating between him and his wife.

In the snap of Ben with his hand on his chest, he smirked slightly, with the actor holding a drink in his other hand as he walked along the pavement. The second snap sees Ben walking beside his son Samuel, with the father-and-son duo deep in conversation.

Less than two years into the couple’s marriage, an insider recently claimed the pair’s relationship is “not in the best place at the moment” with another source saying the issues go deep down into who they are as people. They explained: “She likes to open her heart to her fans and to the world. He is more introspective and private. This has been difficult day-to-day.”
