Josh Giddey is free from having to hear fans chant things at him over the underage controversy that surrounded him, but his personal life remains a hot topic.

For the offseason, the Oklahoma City Thunder guard has returned to his native Australia and was recently spotted out with Maki Lesko, a Melbourne model and former AFL WAG.

Lesko, who describes herself as Russian, Polish, and Australian, is said to have posted pictures of herself and the 21-year-old NBA star on her Instagram.

One photo shows the model with her arm around Josh Giddey as he holds a drink in his hand and his tongue out of his mouth in what looks like a nightclub.

Another picture showed the model posing in a vehicle while Giddey is seen on his phone.

Lesko, who is represented by leading Melbourne modeling agency Brooklyn MGMT in Australia and Agency Arizona in the United States, has previously made headlines for attending the 2022 Essendon Best and Fairest Awards with Bomber Ben Hobbs.

Earlier this year, it was revealed that Oklahoma City Thunder guard Josh Giddey would not face charges in California after a police investigation into an alleged inappropriate relationship with an underage girl.

The Newport Beach Police Department officially closed the investigation.

“After a thorough and exhaustive examination, we have completed our investigation into information that was circulating on social media involving Josh Giddey,” the NBPD statement read.

“Our detectives have reviewed all of the available information and were unable to corroborate any criminal activity related to Mr. Giddey. The Newport Beach Police Department is committed to ensuring that accurate information is disseminated to the public while also ensuring the rights of all those involved.”

The investigation began in 2023 after pictures surfaced of Giddey’s involvement in an improper relationship with a minor.

Despite the closing of the investigation, Giddey still found himself being booed by opposing fan bases.
