Tiger Woods is back to playing full rounds of golf after a difficult rehab and recovery following ankle surgery. The 15-time Major winner had to undergo a subtalar fusion surgery because of a traumatic car crash in 2021 and has just got back to being able to walk pain-free.

The PGA Tour star had ended his 27-year-long partnership with Nike in late 2023. Fans worldwide had tuned in to watch Tiger Woods play golf on a Sunday wearing his iconic red t-shirt and black pants from Nike. However, the end of his partnership with Nike left fans wondering if Woods would ever sport the look without the Nike logo.

However, earlier this year, Tiger Woods announced the launch of his own brand that is aptly named Sun Day Red. Woods’ new golf apparel and gear line has been working hand in hand with his equipment sponsor, TaylorMade. Sun Day Red just announced their new “Camo Collection”. Unfortunately, the new drop is not being perceived well by fans on social media.

An X user named @JakeKeegan12 took to the platform to say,

” Nike [ is ] better “

X user @TheDino44 remarked on the new earthy-toned collection. The fan said,

” Just so ugly “

Another fan took to the X platform to comment on the new Camo Collection. X user @real_blueco said,

” I’m sorry, and I pull for Tiger [ Woods ], but is anyone inspired by the Sunday Red gear? It all seems overpriced, unimaginative, and avg quality? ]

Here are a few other fans’ reactions to Tiger Woods’ new Sun Day Red collection:

” What an absolute travesty of a brand all things considered, had real high hopes for this , ” said an X user.

X user @Argyle_Golf said, ” Can we not with the fake camo stuff? It’s genuinely terrible, every single time. “

” How about they release the stuff tiger wears on the course instead of simple and basic garbage that nobody wants , ” said a fan on X.

How is Tiger Woods doing so far in the 2024 PGA Tour season?

Tiger Woods has participated in just four events so far in the PGA Tour’s 2024 season. Out of these, he made the cut only in the Masters Tournament, missed the cut in two events, and withdrew from the Genesis Invitational.

The only event he has seen through from start to finish was the 2024 Masters which was played at the Augusta National Golf Club in April. Tiger Woods finished the Major Championship at solo 60th place with a 16 over par score. The PGA Tour star shot seven over par for two rounds at the PGA Championship and the US Open to miss the cut.

Tiger Woods currently ranks 215th on the FedEx Cup Rankings and the Comcast Business Tour rankings with a mere eight points. The 15-time Major championship winner ranks 160th on the US Team Presidents Cup Rankings list with 28 points.
