Love Island viewers went wild after Grace pied her ex Joey Essex in a very fiery game of Snog, Marry, Pie amid their bitter feud on Monday night’s episode.

The pair have been on tense ground in recent days after Joey accused her of still liking him – prompting a furious response from Grace.

But she was quick to take her revenge after him winding her up for days as she picked to pie him in the game.

She appeared to put her full force behind the throw and really went for it leaving the other Islanders in shock.

As she threw the cream-covered pie at him she said: ‘I’ll do this respectfully – or not so respectfully!’-

Joey looked taken aback by the cream pie after also being picked by Jessica, Matilda and Nicole also picked him after his recent antics.

Meanwhile the islanders received a rare text with news from the outside world as they were allowed to watch England play in the Euros final on Sunday evening.

Overcome with excitement, the text read: ‘Islanders, tonight you will be able to watch the England football team play Spain in the final of the European Championships! #ComeOnEngland’.

With their spirits lifted, all the Islanders cheered and jumped in the pool.

Later that evening, they got ready for the all-important game, watching from the bedroom with flags and bunting as they cheered on England.

Following the game’s result, the Islanders headed outside to raise a toast as Reuben had a personal message for the England squad, saying: ‘Not the result we wanted tonight everyone, but I’d say the boys did well, we got to the final and they did the country proud.’

It came after Joey left viewers cringing as they blasted him for being ‘obsessed’ and ‘creepy’ over ex Grace after an explosive row during Sunday’s episode.

The former TOWIE star, 33, could not help but ignite a fiery showdown with the blonde beauty as he attempted to call her out for not being honest in a challenge.

Grace, 25, was asked to reveal which boy she would couple up with if she was not exploring a connection Reuben.

But after the model picked Josh, Joey was triggered and tried to imply that she still had feelings for him and would have picked him, if she was being ‘totally honest’.

‘I feel like if Grace was being totally honest she would’ve written my name,’ Joey quipped.

‘Stop trying to mix the pot, it’s so boring,’ Grace hit back.

As the game continued, Jessy revealed that Joey doesn’t like her friendship with Grace.

‘He doesn’t like me being friends with Grace,’ she said.

‘It’s giving Joey’s not over the situation with Grace…you’re so bothered about it,’ Matilda chipped in.

Love Island continues at 9pm on Tuesday night on ITV2.
