Emmanuel Acho is not impressed with Aaron Rodgers coming back so early after Achilles Tendon.

Emmanuel Acho boldly claims Aaron Rodgers loves ‘attention’ more than his teammates

The NFL world is eagerly waiting for Aaron Rodgers to make a comeback to the field. Possibilities have arisen that Rodgers can make a comeback by December 2. He had a successful Achilles tendon operation and later went through successful rehab sessions to come back to the field early. If he finally makes his comeback by December 2, then he will be one of the fastest ever to recover from an Achilles Tendon injury.

However, not everyone is impressed with Rodgers putting this much effort to come back so early. Analyst Emmanuel Acho is one of them. In a recent episode of the show Speak, he used some harsh words against the four-times MVP winner. He said that Rodgers had been an attention-seeker throughout his injury. Here also, he is being an attention gluten and that is the sole reason he wants to come back to the field.

The analyst noted.

Aaron Rodgers is a glutten for fame. He is a glutten for attention. And when you get hurt, that’s the worst thing in football, because we do not care about you. We care about the training staff, I have been there before, the college and the professional level. So, when you have not been talked about you try top find ways to be talked about. What did Aaron Rodgers do when he got hurt? He went back to the game. Why you going back to the game with cruches when you know you can be hurt?

On multiple occasions, Rodgers was seen walking on the sidelines with crutches and was also seen throwing the ball multiple times. These things might have impressed others but not Acho who found these stunts highly problematic.

Acho questions Rodgers’ intention to comeback to the field

Emmanuel Acho does not hold any respect for Aaron Rodgers’ intention to comeback to the field. He questioned his will and felt curious to know why Rodgers would like to comeback this early.

Acho, however, questions his intention. The former player and the present-day analyst added:

Now, after 75 days, why is he coming back? I do not think he loves his teamamtes. I think he loves attention. Might be both. Might love his teammate and attention. But I do not think he has this incessible appetite to remedy...

The Jets have been a disappointment throughout the season. They lost seven games and won just four. ‘Accidental quarterback’ Zach Wilson failed to impress much with his playmaking. In this context, Rodgers’ comeback is seen as an essential process to help his teammates in tough times. The Jets have some interesting fixtures in the coming time and Rodgers’ presence can help the squad.
