Ronda Rousey has carved out an immaculate legacy in combat sports. She has climbed atop the mountain in both the UFC and the WWE. However, her chapter with the prestige wrestling promotion came to a close as she left the company. The rumor mill ran rife with speculation over Rousey’s next step after her last appearance at SummerSlam. An exciting development has surfaced on how exactly the former WWE star would continue to enthrall and excite her fans.
Despite speculation continuing to persist over a return to the Octagon, the former UFC bantamweight champion has opted to engage in a venture that is less action-heavy. In recent months, Rousey has focused on parenting her daughter and managing her farm. She continues to keep a low profile. The 2 time WWE SmackDown Women’s champion made an exciting announcement on her Instagram account. She revealed that she was working on her upcoming memoir.

This candid account of her life, both in and out of the spotlight, will be released in April next year. Rousey, a former Olympic bronze medalist in judo and the first female UFC champion, will share her experiences and the story behind her transition to acting after leaving the UFC in 2016. The memoir also delves into her path to motherhood as she and her husband, Travis Browne, welcomed their daughter in 2021. She recently posted a reel on Instagram revealing her book cover. Ronda Rousey also gave a snippet to fans about what to expect from the memoir.
In her own words, Rousey told PEOPLE, “Our Fight is everything I’ve wished I could fit into a headline but just couldn’t. My story in my words. All the answers I needed years to give succinctly.”
Rousey’s memoir, the follow-up to her 2015 book ‘My Fight / Your Fight’, reflects her journey, both in the world of professional fighting and her life afterward. It emphasizes resilience and her personal battle against public perceptions. It’s a story of the fights she engaged in and what she held dear.
‘Our Fight’ is set to be published by Grand Central Publishing. Charlotte Flair, Sasha Banks, and Raquel Rodriguez, Rousey’s WWE friends, have already reacted to her announcement.
