Since The View features a panel of women co-hosts, it’s only fitting that they close out their season with a riveting conversation about one thing every female will one day face: menopause. Despite being an informative segment, their conversation was littered with playful moments — like when Alyssa Farah Griffin said she’d be “so annoyed” if Sunny Hostin got pregnant before her.

Womaness co-founders Michelle Jacobs and Sally Mueller appeared on the hit daytime talk show to chat about all things menopause, which, according to them, happens when a woman goes a full 12 months without getting her period.

“Is it normal to still get your period in your 50s?” Hostin, 55, asked. “You’re looking at that person. But I thought that by your 50s, you should be in menopause.”

Mueller began to explain that the average age of menopause is 51, but was abruptly cut off when Griffin joked, “If Sunny gets pregnant before me, I’m gonna be so annoyed.”

This is hardly the first time Griffin, 35, has brought up plans to start a family

“I’m very open to being pregnant soon. I am not blessed to be pregnant yet. My husband and I are thinking about it,” she said in a September 2023 episode of The View after moderator Whoopi Goldberg awkwardly halted the Hot Topics segment to ask if Griffin was expecting.

“Why, do I look pregnant?” Griffin asked, to which Goldberg replied, “Yes, I just got a vibe.”

Hostin added, “We like babies at The View. Because we can have baby showers.”

Griffin was again forced to clarify that she wasn’t pregnant during a February 2024 episode of The View while discussing whether parents should be held accountable for their children’s actions.

“I know we’re all parents — well, almost all parents,” Hostin said, gesturing to Griffin, who quickly added, “To be clear, I’m not pregnant, America.”
