Contestants joining the forthcoming 26th season of The Voice will have two brand-new coaches to impress. When the music competition series returns later this year, Snoop Dogg and Michael Bublé will be among the four artists on the coaching panel. The Voice veteran Gwen Stefani will return for her eighth season, while Reba McEntire will serve as coach for her third season in a row.
Over the weekend, Snoop Dogg teased the news on social media, where he shared a photo of himself with Bublé captioned: “Yo hit me @MichaelBuble📱 🎶” Official accounts for The Voice boosted the news with the note: “Dream Coach Rotation.”
Snoop Dogg and Bublé will be taking over for Chance the Rapper and John Legend, but it won’t be either musician’s first appearance on the show. Snoop Dogg served as Mega Mentor during the season 20 knockouts, which aired in April 2021. Bublé joined earlier, serving as an adviser for Blake Shelton‘s team during season three of The Voice.
The show has undergone a number of changes to its coaches panel over the last few years. Shelton exited the show in 2023 after 12 years. The country singer coached 23 seasons of hopeful artists in that time, more than any other coach. He served as a coach alongside the likes of Christina Aguilera, Adam Levine, Kelly Clarkson, Niall Horan, CeeLo Green, and more. Clarkson also had a long run on the show, coaching from season 13 through season 21 and returning for a one-off year during season 23.
