The poor form of Novak Djokovic continues as the Tour nears the second Grand Slam of the season, Roland Garros. Like many tennis critics and pundits, even Andy Roddick is now concerned about the Serbian’s form.

In a recent podcast episode, “Served with Andy Roddick,”  the host gave a rundown of the bottle hit and how it affected Djokovic’s battered form.

For more context, Djokovic got hit squarely by a metal bottle while signing autographs for the fans, and a couple of days later he was washed by his opponent Alejandro Tabilo.

Come out against Tabilo and Doesn’t look like Novak at all and loses 2 and three and it might not have been that close. He got broken four times. Three of the four times he got broken, he double-faulted on break point which is weird.

Said Andy Roddick on his podcast

Well, what started as a loss against Alex De Minuar at the beginning of the year translated into a semi-final loss against Jannik Sinner.

Djokovic, who is known to turn things around, was expected to get going during the middle of the season but continued with failed performances, much to the disappointment of fans and critics alike. Moreover, Roddick also said that despite Djokovic prioritizing the Olympics, there has been no ramp-up from his side, casting more doubt.
