The ladies of The View celebrated not only saying goodbye to Season 27 of the show this morning, but bid farewell to their studio of 10 years, too.

The hosts behind the Hot Topics table will kick off the new season at a state-of-the-art facility downtown, as they discussed in today’s show.

We have an exciting announcement,” host Joy Behar started, as she threw it over to her cohost Sunny Hostin.

“This is the last episode of the season,” Hostin started. “After 10 years and 2,143 episodes, this is also the last show we’ll do from this studio.”

The host continued, “We’re sad to say goodbye, but we are thrilled to be moving to a brand-new studio downtown — brand-new, state-of-the-art — and we will see you there in September for the premiere of Season 28 of The View.”

The show’s Instagram and X accounts posted after the show about the announcement, with the caption on both posts reading, “Get ready for a new ‘View’ as we end this chapter after 10 years in our studio on New York City’s Upper West Side! ✨ See you in September from our new, state-of-the-art studio in downtown Manhattan when we kick off season 28!”

The post on X featured a clip from today’s show announcing the relocation, while the Instagram announcement showcased photos from behind the scenes of the Season 27 photo shoot.

The current studio lives on the Upper West Side of Manhattan in ABC’s West 66th Street studio. While the ladies talked about the excitement surrounding the newly built studio, the show has given no indication as to exactly where the new studio will reside, besides a location in “downtown Manhattan.”

During their last show, the ladies talked politics, menopause, and interviewed Pete Buttigieg on all things presidential. They also discussed who around the table was a “purger” or a “hoarder” when it comes to moving their belongings.

The View will enjoy a nice summer break and will return live once again in September.
