The Milwaukee Bucks were considered a heavyweight in the Eastern Conference entering the 2023-24 NBA regular season, thanks to superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo’s return from injury and the signing of fellow superstar Damian Lillard.

The two-headed monster of Lillard and Antetokounmpo was as intimidating as any in the league, with many believing this team could be the one to beat in the NBA, especially with other additions to the roster such as sharpshooter Malik Beasley, who would have the luxury of having a plethora of open shots as a result of playing with this superstar duo in Milwaukee.

Unfortunately for Milwaukee, their hopes of capturing another championship were dashed when Antetokounmpo suffered a serious calf strain, forcing them to lose in the first round to the Indiana Pacers, as Lillard couldn’t carry the load alone.

With the Bucks hoping to return to full strength before next season, the team will make changes in the offseason, and one of those changes may be beyond their control, with Chris Haynes of Bleacher Report reporting that Beasley will likely leave the team in NBA free agency this summer via NBA Central.
