Given that Clark and Reese had only been rivals to this point, there was a lot of excitement to see how they would complement each other on the court.

And while the duo weren’t on the court for too long together, there was one moment where Clark dished out an iconic assist to Reese in what was the first direct connection between them.

Recently released audio footage caught a moment where Clark guided Reese to this basket.

Team WNBA forward Angel Reese (5) passes the ball to Team WNBA guard Caitlin Clark (22) during the first half against the USA Women's National Team at Footprint Center.

As Liberty star Sabrina Ionescu’s basket for Team USA is going through the net, Clark can be heard saying, “Go go go” to Reese, who is right next to her.

Clark then receives the inbound pass then jets down the court, with Reese running a little ahead of her.

Clark then works her way into the paint and fools Team USA center Brittney Griner into thinking she’s going for a layup before dishing it off to Reese at the last moment, who scores.

The footage is an awesome example of Clark’s elite court vision and awareness, which Reese benefitted from.
