Last October, while she was still in college with the LSU Tigers, Reese signed a multi-year endorsement deal with Reebok. NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal was instrumental in initiating Reese’s deal, spearheading the agreement to enlist her as the first athlete under his new role as president of Reebok basketball.

Early Thursday morning, Reese and Reebok finally unveiled her debut footwear and apparel collection, the ‘Reebok by Angel’ collection, which will be available on August 23.

She gave a description of her first collection on Reebok’s official website and revealed the inspiration behind it.

“I am honored to unveil my first collection with Reebok, and worked hand in hand with the brand to ensure each and every piece is designed to elicit confidence and expression,” the statement read. “I wanted to create a collection that allowed women and girls everywhere to embrace their femininity and power in whatever they’re doing. This collection is for HER to be stylish and fierce on all occasions.”

The collection includes three pairs of shoes with a white and blue Sky-themed color scheme. It also includes many different choices of clothing, including shorts, shirts, bodysuits, and jackets.

Shaq, who also played at LSU, was named president of Reebok basketball in early October, only a few days before initiating Reese’s deal. He later justified his decision to sign Reese following the decision.

“There is no one making a bigger impact on the game right now than Angel Reese,” O’Neal said.

Reese is joined by many different athletes sponsored by Reebok, including NBA great Allen Iverson and NFL stars JJ Watt and Justin Fields.
