The “Taken” star shared: “Maybe about two years from now, if God blesses me and I’m healthy. After that I think I will stop doing action movies.”
62-year-old actor Liam Neeson has just revealed that he may stop acting in action movies after 2 years even though he is still quite energetic.
This Northern Irish actor has quickly become an action movie superstar since participating in ” Taken ” (2008).
Since then, Neeson has participated in two other parts of “ Taken ” and thrillers such as “ A Walk Among the Tombstones ” and “ Non-Stop .”
But in the latest interview in the Guardian, Liam Neeson said he will “withdraw from action movies in the next two years.”
When asked by The Guardian how long he still wants to act in action movies, the ” Taken ” star shared: “Maybe about two years from now, if God blesses me and I’m still healthy. After that I think I will stop doing action movies.”
Liam Neeson made a name for himself with his role as World War II hero Oskar Schindler in the classic film “ Schindler’s List ” (1993).
Since then, he has participated in many famous movies such as ” Star Wars: The Phantom Menace ” (1999) or ” Love Actually ” (2003). But it wasn’t until “Taken” that he truly made his mark as a leading male star of sensational films.
This month, he will have the movie ” Run All Night ” released in theaters before participating in the comedy ” Ted 2 ” and the work “Silence ” directed by Martin Scorsese./.
