A’ja Wilson turned heads on Friday when she tried the ‘Mashumi’ challenge with teammate Sydney Colson. The Las Vegas Aces superstar joined a TikTok trend that drew attention in the past 24 hours.

So much so that even LeBron James’ wife and daughter, Savannah and Zhuri, replicated the dance on social media. Instagram account ‘theshaderoom’ shared a video of the James ladies dancing, with Savannah clarifying that they made some changes to the original version.

This trend has become more popular in recent days and now even NBA and WNBA figures are joining it.

A’ja Wilson delivered another impressive performance Friday night

The veteran center gained attention following another commanding display in front of the Atlanta Dream. A’ja Wilson was on a mission last night, dropping 33 points and grabbing 18 rebounds to continue her good form.

She previously recorded her first 20-20 WNBA game against the Seattle Storm, scoring 24 points and grabbing 20 rebounds.

Wilson scored 30 or more points for the seventh time this season on Friday, setting a new career high. The Aces won the game 84-70 at the Gateway Center Arena in College Park.

Wilson is putting on a remarkable performance this season, making a strong candidate to win both the MVP and DPOY awards at the end of the regular season.

The Aces won their 15th game of the season, boasting a 15-7 record now and threatening the top teams in the WNBA. After a tumultuous start to the season, the team has done well of late. They’re keen to win the third consecutive championship this season, but it won’t come easy, as at least four teams are looking like strong opponents for the Aces come playoff time.
