Kim Mulkey has been keeping tabs on Angel Reese as the former LSU star continues her stellar WNBA rookie season.

Reese collected her 11th straight double-double on Tuesday, extending her WNBA record.

She also was named the league’s Rookie of the Month and found out she made the All-Star team.

Mulkey celebrated all three accomplishments on X/Twitter last night.

“11th straight double-double. @WNBA Rookie of the Month. @WNBA All-Star All in the same day! Congrats @Reese10Angel!” she tweeted.

The No. 7 overall pick in this year’s WNBA Draft, Reese has made an impact from day one.

She and Indiana Fever guard Caitlin Clark were the only two rookies to make the WNBA All-Star team.

“I’m just so happy. I know the work I put in,” Reese said.

“Coming into this league, so many people doubted me and didn’t think my game would translate and I wouldn’t be the player that I was in college or better or would be worse and wouldn’t be where I am right now.

“But I trusted the process and I believed and I’m thankful that I dropped to [pick No. 7] and was able to come to Chicago.

And like, it’s just a blessing. I can’t thank my teammates and my coaches enough for just believing in me and trusting me.

I know all of them are going to come to Phoenix and support me. So I’m really happy right now.”

Reese and the Chicago Sky will continue their 2024 season on Friday against the Seattle Storm.
