After his arrest for Driving While Intoxicated in the Hamptons, Justin Timberlake’s mugshot has been released by the Sag Harbor police department

Justin Timberlake appears with bloodshot eyes in his mugshot released on Tuesday.

The star was arrested early Tuesday morning for Driving While Intoxicated in Sag Harbor in the Hamptons. Justin reportedly ran a stop sign and was seen “swerving” as he drove.

The singer’s mugshot showed him looking straight at the camera with no expression on his face but his eyes were glassy and very blue.

Justin was reportedly hanging out with friends in the American Hotel when he left around 12:30 A.M. and got in his car. He was reportedly driving to his residence before being pulled over.

Sources in law enforcement told TMZ that the Sexyback singer was “glassy-eyed” and the police smelled alcohol on his breath. He also apparently failed the field sobriety test where he was unable to walk and turn and balance on one leg.

Justin’s friends allegedly arrived at the scene and tried to persuade the cops to let Justin go, but they wouldn’t budge. The singer was handcuffed and arrested before being taken into custody.

The Suffolk County District Attorney issued a statement Tuesday morning that read: “On June 18, 2024, Justin Timberlake was arrested in Sag Harbor for Driving While Intoxicated. He will be arraigned in Sag Harbor Village Justice Court this morning. At this time, we have no further comment.”

He arrived at court wearing a dark-colored band t-shirt underneath an open short sleeved black button up shirt. He tried to hide his identity the best he could with a black baseball cap and dark black sunglasses.

Justin was charged with one count of Driving While Intoxicated and was cited for running a stop sign and a “failure to keep in his lane.” The singer’s court date is set for July 26 – the same day his European leg of his Forget Tomorrow World Tour kicks off in Krakow, Poland.

It’s unclear how his world tour would be affected by his court date and arrest. His last show was June 15 in Miami at the Kaseya Center.

His next two shows take place in Chicago starting June 21. Justin will then head to New York to perform at Madison Square Garden for two days June 25 and 26.
