More about Kailyn’s challenging C-section with twins Valley and Verse

KAILYN Lowry has announced that she is engaged to her boyfriend Elijah Scott.

The Teen Mom alum made the exciting announcement on Thursday’s episode of her Coffee Convos podcast.

Elijah is Kailyn’s, 32, fourth baby daddy and they have three children together: Rio, one, and twins Valley and Verse.

During her talk with co-host Lindsie Chrisley, she spotted a huge diamond ring on Kailyn’s finger and had to ask about it.

“Are you married?” Lindsie asked prominently.

Kailyn responded, “No, I’m not married! This is the ring that they give you before you get married.”

Lindsie then asked if Kailyn was engaged, and she confirmed the news.

Kailyn said, “I couldn’t really make an announcement [about the engagement] because I couldn’t really give you a time that he asked me to marry him.

“It was just like [Elijah asking], ‘When are we going to get married?’

“It was, like, asking me to marry him all the time. And then one day he just showed up with a ring.”

‘IT MAKES ME EMBARRASSED!’

In months past, Kailyn admitted that Elijah had tried to propose a few times, but she never accepted it due to her not “taking him seriously.”

“So, I was just like, ‘We’ll play this by ear. I’ll let you know, if you have a ring one day, we’ll reevaluate,” she said.

The TV personality also revealed that Elijah didn’t get down on one knee due to them both being married before.

Kailyn said, “We’ve both been married already, so we both don’t care about the whole, ‘get on one knee and make it all romantic and stuff.’

“Because that’s just not how we are…He came into the bathroom one day while I was getting ready and he gave me the ring…I was like, ‘Oh my God, thank you!'”

She also stated that she preferred his “casual” proposal and that she “doesn’t like being the center of attention.”

She said, “Don’t ever get on one knee because that makes me embarrassed!

“I truly would have been happier if he had left the ring on the table and walked out! Like, why are we making this a big thing?”

Kailyn went on to describe her fiance as “a man of very few words” and “wouldn’t believe him” if he proposed to her in a big way.

However, the star said that Elijah did a good job at picking out the perfect ring, but didn’t give a timeline on when they would officially tie the knot.

The MTV alum is also a mother to a son, Isaac, 14, with her ex, Jo Rivera; a son Lincoln, 10, with her ex-husband, Javi Marroquin; and sons, Lux, six; and Creed, three, with her ex, Chris Lopez.

Late last year, The U.S. Sun was the first to reveal that Kailyn gave birth to Valley and Verse in November.

Months after welcoming her newborns, she revealed that she had a challenging birth experience.

On her podcast, Barely Famous, Kailyn went into detail about her tough C-section.

She said, “I cried a lot. Mainly out of absolute fear of having a C-section.

“I was terrified because I didn’t love the idea but I knew I had to do it because the baby was breached.”

She then went on to explain that she didn’t give herself enough time to recover from the C-section and ended up “bleeding” from her incision, causing her to return to the hospital.

Nearly a year later, Kailyn has been sharing more and more photos of her youngest children on social media.
