MILEY Cyrus has wowed fans with a major change to her appearance.

The pop music star went back to her roots in a post shared on Instagram on Wednesday.

In the post, Miley, 31, promoted her upcoming appearance with David Letterman on a Netflix show.

The accompanying photo showed Miley singing in a dimly lit room.

The Disney alum showed off her toned figure in a black catsuit, with a halter neck revealing the tattoos on her arms.

Most notably, however, Miley ditched her recent blond look in favor of her natural brunette hair.

Miley has shown off plenty of experiments with her locks, including a short pixie cut and a black/blond contrast.

The television star looked much more natural in her new shot, with shiny, layered chestnut hair reaching down to her waist.

“My Next Guest Needs No Introduction with David Letterman, tune in on @Netflix June 12th,” she captioned the photo.

Alongside promising to tune in, many fans gushed over Miley’s new look.

“Miley you look like a real queen,” one person said, along with brown heart emojis and a crown.

“She ateee Miley Stewart is back!” another commenter wrote, referring to Miley’s childhood character in Hannah Montana.

UNDER THE KNIFE?

While fans loved Miley’s new look, they previously slammed the star after theorizing that she’d had buccal fat removal.

In February, the star appeared on the cover of her new single, Doctor (Work It Out), which she worked on with Pharrell Williams, 1.

On the cover, Miley stared at the camera with voluminous hair and a fluffy blue-gray jacket.

However, the star was accused of having undergone plastic surgery after fans noted her very sharp facial features.

“Can’t tell if it’s the buccal fat removal or the giant veneers that make her look so off these days,” one person wrote on Reddit.

“Is she able to close her mouth normally anymore? I’m not asking as a dig, but asking sincerely. She’s had so much work done to her lower face…” a second asked.

“She’s had the nose job for years, but yes she is wearing contour on top of that. Honestly, with the buccal fat removal and new veneers on top of her nose job, she’s really working to complete her transformation into Tish,” said a third, referring to Miley’s mom Tish Cyrus, 7.

FAMILY FEUD

Miley’s comparison to her mom came just before her family was reportedly torn apart by rumors of an affair.

Tish got married to actor Dominic Purcell, 4, in August 2023, after getting a divorce from Billy Ray, 62, in April 2022.

Soon, however, rumors emerged Miley’s younger sister Noah, 24, had previously dated her new stepdad.

One insider said that Noah and Dominic had been dating for a while before he moved on with her mom, and that Tish was aware of the relationship.

A different celebrity source argued that Noah herself had made the rumor up as a way to draw attention away from Miley.

“Noah has always craved attention because she did not get it growing up. Tish was always so Miley-sided because that is where the money was,” they claimed.
