Dwyane Wade was fired up to see Angel Reese and Allen Iverson’s collab with Reebok. The young WNBA star and the 2001 NBA MVP are coming together to release a special edition of the Reebok Answer III, “Unapologetically Angel.”
Sneaker News shared some images of the new design of the shoes, which includes silver, blue, white, and black. Sneaker News adds that this will be only for family and friends and won’t be available for sale.

This announcement comes after Angel Reese shared with fans that she would be getting a signature shoe and apparel line with Reebok. The basketball branch of the company, led by Shaquille O’Neal, has shown big support to Reese and her signature shoe was considered a done deal after she signed with them.
Reese was hyped up about this news, and sent a happy message to fans on social media.
“ICY GIRL. GIVING YALL THE BLUES! DROPPING SOON!” Reese wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter.
Reese reposted Reebok’s original post, which includes the video used to make the announcement. It shows Reese wearing some clothing pieces from the upcoming collection, a closeup of pair of shoes, and shots of her dribbling a basketball.
Angel Reese started second half of WNBA season on another streak
After breaking the record for most consecutive double-doubles in a single season, the streak ended at 15. She was one point away from continuing, but now she has to start over from scratch. The WNBA paused mid-season for the 2024 Paris Olympics, and the start of the second half of the season has been full of ups and downs for the Chicago Sky. Reese still remains a double-double threat whenever she sets foot on the court.
The first game back was terrible for the Sky, losing 85-65 to the Phoenix Mercury, despite Reese’s 11 points and 15 rebounds. Chicago got things back on track the following game, beating the Sparks 90-86 behind Reese’s 14 points and 11 rebounds. She had another impressive game against the Mercury on Sunday, with a final score of 86-68, where she posted 19 points and 20 rebounds.
Chicago still has hopes to reach the 2024 WNBA playoffs with an 11-16 record. Angel Reese keeps putting on good numbers, averaging 13.6 points, 12.3 rebounds, and 1.7 assists per game.
