Tatum was not shy in revealing his feelings about Miami.
The Boston Celtics’ championship parade rolled through Beantown on Friday, not long after Celtics star forward Jayson Tatum shared his true thoughts on the Miami Heat that are sure to rankle a few feathers on South Beach.
Tatum’s comments came during a time when Boston big man Al Horford shared his thoughts on sharing the experience with his son. Meanwhile, Jaylen Brown, the Finals MVP, showed off the Larry O’Brien Trophy at a casino much to the surprise of nearby gamblers.
The Celtics’ record 18th title did not come without controversy, at least according to what Tatum just said about Jimmy Butler and the Heat.

Tatum spoke about the Heat on after he was asked a question about jumping on a flight to Miami shortly after winning the championship over Luka Doncic and the Dallas Mavericks.
He said he’s still having a hard time believing the events of the past week are real and added his two cents on playing Jimmy Butler and the Miami Heat, saying “They always easy,” in terms of his feelings on beating the Erik Spoelstra coached team.
"They always easy."

Tatum said the Celtics hopped on the flight a couple of hours after the trophy was secured, suggesting they were ready to see palm trees while savoring the monumental accomplishment they had just completed.
Fans React to Tatum Blast Against Jimmy Butler’s Heat
Celtics and Heat fans alike reacted in the comments section to Tatum’s comments.
“Everybody act tough when they don’t have to play the best player huh,” one reader, a Heat fan page operator, said in regards to Tatum’s comments with Jimmy Butler in mind.
The Celtics beat the defending Eastern Conference Champion Heat in the first round as Butler watched helplessly from the sidelines due to injury.
“Jimmy Butler owns this clown btw,” another fan said.
“Jrue and White didn’t find it funny they the only real ones,” another fan added.
“Knew not to say Milwaukee,” another fan added.
The Celtics knocked off the Mavericks in five games proving themselves to be the undisputed best team in 2024. The Celtics’ 18th title will live on forever as a testament to the championship mettle of this Celtics team, regardless of what the haters might say.
That being said, Tatum might have just rekindled a rivalry with the Heat heading into next season, a prospect he seems wholly unbothered by considering the strength in numbers approach of his Celtics franchise.
