Angel Reese is one of the most highly-publicized athletes in American sports right now.

The No. 7 overall pick in the WNBA draft is becoming a household name, especially in the city of Chicago.

During a recent press conference, Reese discussed her adjustment to the fanfare that surrounds her on a daily basis. In doing so, the former LSU superstar described the story of a fan that came up and started banging on her car window.

“I was getting back in the car and I was trying to leave but this girl was banging on my window. She was like, ‘act like you from Chicago, open this door,'” Reese explained.

This story has fans seriously concerned about Reese’s personal safety.

“I hope she gets some security. She was smiling but pls someone coming up to your car door like that is not good,” one wrote.

“I’m gonna need her to get some security guards,” another said.

“The girlies need security because why folks banging on this woman’s window like this?”
another asked.

“Glad she’s trying to interact with the community but she needs some security,” another added.

Reese celebrated her 22nd birthday on Monday. The Chicago rookie will take the court against when the Sky face off against the New York Liberty in another preseason matchup on Tuesday night.
