The Indiana Fever shared their pregame fits ahead of their return to action on Friday night, and Caitlin Clark was unsurprisingly a standout.
The WNBA is back after going on break for around a month due to the Olympic Games. It returned this week and wasted little time presenting a marquee matchup, with Clark and the Fever going up against Diana Taurasi and the Phoenix Mercury.
Clark went off on her veteran rival, scoring 29 points along with 10 assists and five rebounds in the 98-89 win to see Indiana go up 2-0 against Phoenix. It appears reality hasn’t quite set, despite Taurasi’s preseason warning.
Before the game, Clark created some buzz online after the team showed her off in a short blue blazer and matching cargo pants.
You can see all of the fits, including Caitlin’s, below:
“Caitlin is so wifey 💍,” a user declared.
“This is my favorite Caitlin fit by far,” someone else said.
“Caitlin always looks Amazing and she is wearing my favorite color Blue,” wrote a third.
“Caitlin Clark ate,” said a fourth.
Caitlin Clark Came Back With A Bang
Fever head coach Christie Sides warned that Clark would be a lot better after the much-needed break, and it appears she was on to something as the rookie’s first game back was an amazing spectacle.
The former Iowa star is now the first rookie in WNBA history to register at least 450 points and 200 assists in a single season, with a lot more basketball still left to play.
Clark and the Fever will go head-to-head with the Seattle Storm on Sunday afternoon. It will be interesting to see whether she could follow Friday’s performance up with another banger.
