Australian rapper 360 recently revealed he was not allowed to speak to Eminem when he opened for him during his 2014 tour Down Under.

The Melbourne based performer, 37, shared a video to TikTok where he revealed the surprising conditions he had to agree to in order to be booked as Eminem’s opening act.

‘I met fellow opening acts Kendrick Lamar and J Cole, they were super nice and chill. But I didn’t meet Eminem,’ he began.

‘I was under strict instructions not to approach him, because he’s on a level of fame that is on that Michael Jackson level.’

Nevertheless, 360 – who was born Matthew Colwell – said opening for the global superstar during his Rapture Tour was an experience of a lifetime.

‘Em’s probably one of the biggest reasons I started rapping and to end up supporting him was mind-blowing and still is.’

Many of 360’s followers quickly jumped to his support and questioned why the Stan hitmaker would not meet with him.

I’m a massive Em fan but you’d think just out of respect he would at least meet with you,’ one fan wrote and another added: ‘Makes him look like he’s up himself’.

Earlier this year, it was reported that Eminem is ‘100 per cent in negotiations’ to tour Australia next year.

According to radio host Mark ‘Roo’ Ricciuto, the tour is not a done deal yet but talks are happening.

Speaking on his radio show, 104.7 Triple M in June, Mark said a source told him the tour will happen early to mid-next year, after claims Slim Shady will make it to Aussie shores at the end of 2024.

‘They’re 100 per cent in negotiations… but it’s not done yet. Ticketek are involved and Adelaide Oval,’ Mark said.

‘It won’t be in 2024… it will be between the Adelaide Oval Test match against the West Indies and Round 1 of the football,’ he added.

That places the concert dates somewhere between late January 2025 and mid-March 2025.
