On a new Soaps.com message board, one spoiler revealed that “an unexpected death kicks off a sizzling summer mystery” on Tuesday’s episode.

Some fans believe Tom, played by actor Clint Howard, is the one who will be killed — especially after he was seemingly poisoned in Monday’s new episode.

Tom left his blue cocktail out of his sight and fainted right before the episode’s conclusion, leading many fans to believe his death is the one the show has been teasing.

“Is Tom about to bite the dust? He’s the only unexpected death I could see in the cards on canvas at the moment,” one person replied on the message board.

“Yep. It would seem that Tom is the expendable one for now,” a second added.

“I think it will be Tom too. Sad considering he is getting his second chance,” said a third.

Tom’s death is probable in the show, as he claimed last week to be Luna’s dad — which is sure to cause future issues for Poppy’s relationship with Bill.

He also inquired about Sheila’s past, which could have some negative consequences.

The spoiler for Wednesday’s new episode reveals Katie gets emotional with Bill about his new relationship, while Paris warns Hope to stay away from Thomas.

Thursday’s spoiler says The Forrester Fourth of July party “sets off fireworks in the sky and of the heart.”

Friday’s reveals Poppy recognizes her competition with Katie and that Hope “is devastated as Eric raises a toast to Thomas and Paris.”

CASTING NEWS

While one character will be killed off this week, another actor recently returned to The Bold and the Beautiful after previously stepping away.

Ted King, 58, took a break from the daytime TV show to shoot the Oscar-winning film Oppenheimer.

Ted reprised his role as Jack Finnegan, a criminal defense attorney, in a guest appearance on today’s new episode.

The airing showed Jack having an unexpected encounter with his estranged wife, Dr. Li Finnegan.

The character first appeared on the drama in 2021 and was last seen in a June 2023 episode.

Ted teased that he was back on set with an Instagram selfie in mid-June as he posed inside CBS Television City in Los Angeles.

“Love being back in this building where icons have roamed the hallways for years,” he wrote in the caption.

In other casting news for The Bold and the Beautiful, Crew Morrow, the son of The Young and the Restless star Joshua Morrow, will take over the role of Will Spencer on August 1.

Jim Belushi’s daughter, Jamison Belushi, will also be joining the series in an episode set to air on July 17.
