On Sunday, Aaron Judge smashed his season’s 35th home run, a mammoth shot during the game. In the bottom of the seventh inning, with the New York Yankees trailing the Tampa Bay Rays 5-0 and Jason Adam pitching, Judge connected on a 2-2 pitch. The 80-mph delivery was met with a mighty swing from Judge, sending the ball soaring 444 feet for a three-run homer.

The ball rocketed off his bat at a speed of 112.6 mph, demonstrating Judge’s formidable power. Footage of the powerful hit can be seen below.

Judge continues to have a stellar season, leading the MLB with 35 home runs. He also tops the charts in RBIs with 89 and has impressive stats including a leading OPS of 1.107, a slugging percentage of .673, an on-base percentage of .434, and a .307 batting average, placing him eighth overall. The six-time All-Star is a strong contender for his second American League MVP Award this year.

Despite some struggles in recent weeks, with the Yankees entering the day two games back from the Baltimore Orioles in the AL East, Judge’s consistent performance has been a highlight of the season.
