Jake Paul couldn’t pass up the opportunity to took a dig at UFC boss Dana White after his fight against bare-knuckle boxer Perry was announced for July 20

Jake Paul has extended his rivalry with UFC boss Dana White by mocking him after agreeing to fight Mike Perry.

YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul was scheduled to fight Mike Tyson on July 20 but the controversial bout has now been pushed back to November 15 after Tyson suffered a stomach ulcer flare-up. Former UFC star and bare-knuckle boxing champion Perry will now get his wish after years of campaigning to fight Paul following their sparring session in 2021.

White has been one of Paul’s biggest critics since the influencer ditched his internet fame for a boxing career. “He’s always going to discredit me and do what Dana does,” Paul said on The MMA Hour. “Make up rumours about me. He’s the one that started the rumours about my fights being rigged. He’s the one that started the rumours about me being on steroids. I’m his Achilles’ heel.

I’m who is fighting and advocating for fighters and working on a fighter’s union to help UFC fighters get paid more. They’re the most underpaid athletes in the world. Of course, he wants to limit me, limit my platform so he would say whatever bull**** he could about this fight.

“What I listen to is the court of public opinion and everyone and their mom, Jay Glazer, Brendan Schaub, everyone talking about how this is a better fight than Tyson, this makes more sense. Mike Perry’s in his prime. I can’t believe Jake is doing this. Michael Bisping is saying it’s a mistake for Jake to do this but what I like to do is prove people wrong.

The 31-year age gap between Paul and Tyson will set a record for the largest age differential between two fighters in professional boxing history. White took a dig at Paul after his fight against Tyson was announced by joking that he would fight 93-year-old Clint Eastwood if he beats ‘Iron Mike’.

Paul recently signed UFC champion Sean O’Malley to his new mean’s health brand and thinks White will be furious at the move. “Dana will always discredit me but we have Sean O’Malley as part of the W team now so Dana, I know that’s p****ng you off, buddy. I’m everywhere. I’m in your head. I’m in your bathroom. I’m up your butt. You can’t get rid of me, baby,” he added.
