Bronny James does not yet know where he will be drafted, but it seems that the young player is confident a few days before the event. His attitude on the market leaves little room for doubt.

The Lakers shouldn’t let him slip away with their 55th pick, but the question is whether a franchise is willing to draft him first. The Mavericks have an interest, however, their situation promises to be quite complex .

The Suns were also mentioned for a while, and then that was about it.

However, there are teams who have an interest in the young player, but it must be believed that the latter is difficult to meet before the draft. While players increase the number of training sessions in private to satisfy the curiosity of the teams, this is not the case for Bronny.

Bronny James already promised a franchise?

Guest in a recent show on ESPN, Jonathan Givony explains that NBA teams have difficulty convincing Bronny to come and take tests.

“In my mock draft, I put that the Lakers were going to draft Bronny James in 55th. This is the trend that has been around for years now. I talked to teams and they told me they couldn’t get Bronny James into their building. Besides the Lakers, no team has managed to give him a workout. »

Because Paul insists on asking for an NBA contract for a second-round player, teams may prefer other players. The Lakers, thanks to the presence of LeBron, should on the other hand provide a little helping hand.

A strategy that will not please everyone, since it is obvious that Bronny’s name will offer him some favors at the time of the draft. For Brian Windhorst, this behavior is reminiscent of that of a player who has a draft promise:
