Metallic Gold is prominently featured on the shoes, covering the majority of the upper, and is seen on the heel’s inclusion of the The Shop logo. Black, meanwhile, can be seen at the heel of both the upper and the midsole, with an off-white shade furnishing the rest of the midsole.

The LeBron 21 x The Shop collab was worn by LeBron James in Game 5 of their opening-round playoff series against the erstwhile NBA champions Denver Nuggets, which turned out to be the last game for James and the LA Lakers this season.

The Shop said the sneaker is now available at Nike SNKRS and select retailers with the price starting at $210.

LeBron James had a solid year 21 in the NBA

LeBron James played his 21st year in the NBA this season and still had it solid, marked by making history along the way.

The season saw ‘The King’ lead the LA Lakers to winning the first-ever NBA In-Season Tournament in December, where they went undefeated and took down the Indiana Pacers in the finals.

Then later on in the season in March, he became the first player in NBA history to score 40,000 points, achieving the feat on March 2 in a 124-114 loss to the defending champions Denver Nuggets.

LeBron James posted stellar numbers in the 71 games he played for the Lakers (47-35). He normed 25.7 points, 8.3 assists, 7.3 rebounds and 1.3 steals in 36 minutes of play.

They made their way to the playoffs, although needing to go through the play-in phase to earn a spot in the playoff proper. James tried to lead the Lakers through the Nuggets in the first round but found the going just tough en route to an exit in five games.

Through the course of the season, the 20-time NBA All-Star shared how grateful he was to still be playing at a high level, although admitted the window is closing for him.

He shared, by way of CBS Sports:

“I’m not gonna play another 21 years, that’s for damn sure. Not very long. I don’t know when that door will close as far as when I’ll retire. But I don’t have much time left.”

LeBron James, however, is poised to return for a 22nd year in the NBA next season.
