Angel Reese was among many in the basketball world who were awed by Kysre Gondrezick’s look at the ESPY Awards. Earlier today, the WNBA player took to social media to praise her former Chicago Sky teammate for turning heads in her black outfit.

Yesterday, Gondrezick accompanied Jaylen Brown as his date for the 2024 ESPY Awards at Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles. The former Sky player wore Valdrin Sahiti’s lingerie-inspired black dress and held Brown’s hands as they walked the red carpet. She also posed for solo pictures for the cameras.

Reposting a post from People Style on her Instagram story, Reese had major props for her former teammate’s look at the award function, as she wrote in the caption:

Gondrezick was one of the best-dressed WNBA player this season before she was waived by the Chicago Sky. Earlier, when Sky had not made their decision about the final roster, Angel Reese showed her public support for Gondrezick.

On a separate note, this is not the first time that Brown and Gondrezick have been seen together. During the Boston Celtics championship parade, she accompanied Brown on the bus.

Kysre Gondrezick once ranked Cameron Brink as best dressed rookie

From Angel Reese and Cailtin Clark to A’Ja Wilson and Sabrina Ionescu, WNBA players are setting standards in fashion, especially with Gondrezick seamlessly blending style and sports. Thus, when the fashionista was asked about the best-dressed rookie in the WNBA, Gondrezick said:

“Oh Cameron [Brink], duh.”

Kysre Gondrezick later added that Reese had the best fashion quotient among her Sky teammates. Similar to Gondrezick, the Sky forward also has an impressive fashion game, which she made clear with her outfit choices upon arriving in the WNBA.
