It appears that both sides are keen to finally settle the feud between KSI and Paul before the end of this year, and it seems that they will finish 2023 with a massive clash

KSI and Jake Paul will look to finally settle their feud after half a decade of back-and-forth later this year with a boxing match seemingly set between the pair.

The YouTube boxing scene started in February 2018 when KSI defeated Joe Weller and called out both Jake and his older brother Logan for a fight. Ultimately, Jake ended up facing his younger sibling Deji while Logan took on the Brit and a years-long feud began between the two families.

And despite the fact that Logan and KSI have made up, he and Jake are not friends and the only way they can settle their differences is with another boxing match. KSI has vowed to retire from the sport regardless of the result, while Jake appears to have made a full career transition from YouTube and content creation to professional fighting.

Here’s all we know so far about KSI vs Jake Paul…

When is KSI vs Jake Paul?

It seems that both KSI and Paul want to fight twice this year before they meet towards the end of 2023. KSI will face Faze Temperrr on January 14, while Paul is expected to fight sometime in February. If they both fought around the summertime, then KSI vs Paul would likely take place around November.

However, Jake’s announcement that he is joining PFL for multiple MMA fights, coupled with Dillon Danis pulling out of his bout with KSI, could both see this bout delayed. If Paul gets deep into MMA training, and KSI decides that the step up of Temperrr isn’t enough to warrant just one more before taking on Paul, it could be pushed back to next year.

How to watch KSI vs Jake Paul

This could be where the issue arises. KSI’s Misfits Boxing is pretty rigidly tied to DAZN, where both men made their professional debuts. Paul has a great relationship with the brodcaster, who aired his fighter Amanda Serrano’s historic match-up with Katie Taylor and will also show her undisputed featherweight title fight with Erika Cruz in February.

However, Paul has a strong broadcasting partnership with Showtime Boxing in America which could cause a problem. His failed fight with Hasim Rahman Jr would have landed on DAZN in the UK, so there’s a chance a deal can be made. It’s safe to assume that if KSI is fighting, it will be on DAZN

Who will be on the undercard?

It’s far too early to make assumptions about who will appear, but this will likely be a hybrid of crossover boxers and legitimate professionals. Expect to see the likes of Slim Albaher and Deen The Great on there, as well as Paul’s protege Ashton Sylve who is one of boxing’s brightest prospects. It also seems only right that Anthony Taylor would appear, given his relationship with both fighters.

What are both fighters’ records?

KSI’s fight have taken place under a number of rulesets, so it’s often hard to see his full record in one place. He stopped Joe Weller and drew with Logan Paul in white collar bouts, before beating Logan in a full professional fight and returning in August 2022 with a pair of unsanctioned bouts against Luis Pineda and rapper Swarmz. Altogether, he is 4-0-1 with three KOs.

Meanwhile, Jake Paul has had most of his fights in legitimate professional bouts, going 6-0 as a professional with stoppage wins over YouTuber AnEsonGib, basketball star Nate Robinson, MMA legends Ben Askren and Tyron Woodley as well as decision victories over Woodley and Anderson Silva. He also stopped Deji in a white collar bout, making his record altogether 7-0 with five KOs.
