Logan Paul has revealed he was ready to step in for Mike Tyson and fight his brother Jake after the boxing legend pulled out of this summer’s Netflix showdown.

Tyson was initially scheduled to face Jake in a controversial event at Texas’ AT&T Stadium on July 20, only for the bout to be pushed back to November after his recent medical emergency on a flight from Miami to Los Angeles.

A new date has since been set for ‘Iron’ Mike’s anticipated return to the ring, while certain reports suggest MMA fighter Mike Perry will replace him on next month’s card.

Yet on a special episode of his ‘Impaulsive’ podcast, Logan told former US President Donald Trump that he spoke with Netflix about the possibility of taking on his own brother.

‘I was willing to step in for Mike Tyson, when Tyson got sick and had to postpone his fight. We actually ran it up the chain at Netflix,’ the YouTube star said in his conversation with Trump.

The 78-year-old replied: ‘It’s hard for brothers to fight.’

But Logan then added: ‘Not for Netflix. Not for a big ‘ole bag. Figure it out once and for all.

‘Me and Jake decided that, obviously we both come from a place of love.

‘And whatever the outcome would be, we would have to be okay with it. But obviously, I love my brother.’

Trump came bearing gifts when he appeared on Paul’s podcast, arriving on set with T-shirts for the online sensation-turned WWE wrestler and his co-host, Mike Majlak, emblazoned with his mugshot.

‘Is this your mugshot? No way,’ Paul exclaimed.

‘You’re a gangster,’ he added.

Trump joked that he’s been ‘reduced’ to selling merchandise featuring the August 2023 booking photo amid his ongoing legal woes, noting that ‘it sells.’

‘Well Elvis had one, Frank Sinatra had one — but we’ve eclipsed them,’ the presumed Republican candidate said, comparing himself to the music legends. ‘A long time ago we’ve eclipsed them.’

The business tycoon turned politician went on, ‘I’m not sure if I love it or not, but it is what it is.’

Paul chimed in, ‘It happened so you might as well monetize it.’

Elsewhere in the interview, Trump labelled Joe Biden ‘the worst president in the history of our country.’

‘Biden is just so bad,’ he said, before Paul suggested dropping a ‘diss track’ about him.

‘Yeah, we’ll do something,’ Trump said matter-of-factly.
